Too many good clothes in the shops!

There are just so many lovely things to buy - has anyone else noticed this? Some seasons it's almost impossible to find anything at all, and I have to make do with the less than perfect things I can find that are not a) polyester, b) bum length skirts, or c) just a really weird fit.

My usual shops are Cos, Whistles, Massimo Dutti and occasional bits from Jigsaw. Cos is usually quite hard to buy from due to the odd fit; not over the past few months - everything I try seems to fit really well! Jigsaw had really deteriorated over the past few years - droopy and blah. In the past 3 months I've bought 4 beautiful dresses and a gorgeous pair of shoes - and I've had to restrain myself cos I could easily buy more.

I'm early 40s - maybe it's because of the 90s influence around at the moment? Anyhow, I'm making hay while the sun shines - you never know when midi skirts and grown up clothes will be 'out' and micro minis will be back in fashion. I really need to stop buying though Hmm

Links please! Bonus points if it accommodates my magnificent knockers without making me look like a battleship.

Tell me about it! I've bought more this autumn than ever before I think. Mint Velvet, Jigsaw, The White Company and Hush seem to be the main culprits although I even picked up a couple of really nice dresses in Jack Wills which at 43 I thought i was far too old to be shopping in.

I was going to post something similar the other day!
All my favourite brands seem to have brought out collections in my perfect colours this autumn. I could easily spend thousands, there are so many lovely clothes available just now. But obviously I don't have the budget to spend much at all, and don't really need new clothes... But I suffer from Missing Out Syndrome - thinking I might never find anything as good again if I don't buy the perfect things available right now...

"usual shops are Cos, Whistles, Massimo Dutti"

Wow, all shops that don't exist where I am.

Buy the good stuff whilst you can. That's my strategy. I've bought lots more the year than in previous years. At last, the shops are listening to what we want. Especially M&S.
