Comfy alternative to tracky bottoms

After having the lurgy this week but still having to do the school run I realised I have no really comfy clothes to wear for when I feel dreadful or want to slob around. I normally wear jeans or leggings with dresses.
I am nearly 40 so don't want to look too slobby (lots of the school mums are a lot younger and glammer than me!) and very tall so tracky bottoms tend to be too short on me.

Any ideas? TIA x

They probably aren't what you mean but I wear Sweaty Betty yoga pants trousers. I stock up in the sales mainly because they do a petite length which is perfect for my short legs. They do long length too, though I'm not sure how long they are.

Harem pants like the ones in Next?

Yoga pants, thick thick black leggings worn as trousers, harem pants, soft jeggings.

Leggings.

I wear the Harem pants from next. Very useful on fat/bloated days too.

TheSwallowingHandmaiden · 08/10/2015 12:24

Posh silk-like yoga pants.

If you have to buy Harem pants buy the Hush ones, the Next ones make your arse look saggy

Fabellini · 08/10/2015 12:28

I just took delivery of Hush harem pants this morning, and I can confirm that they are fab! So much nicer than the Next ones - I have a couple of pairs of those too - and the Hush ones are better fabric, more flattering......and also more than twice the price though!

I have a few of those patterned trousers that almost look like pj bottoms. They are so comfy and can still look stylish worn with the right things.

I usually wear mine with ballet pumps or converse, a simple t shirt and a jersey blazer or denim shirt.

Does anyone know where to get leggings with a non elastic waist, almost like a grow on waist band??

EandA · 08/10/2015 15:13

Thanks for all the replies. I am currently wearing PJs to work from home spend too much time online ItsAll but I draw the line at wearing them on the school run! And I think patterned trousers look great but not on me Lj8893

The Hush stuff looks lush - I have drooled over their stuff before - and I am very tempted by the harem pants but I'm not sure they will be long enough.

I live quite near a Sweaty Betty so might try on their long length yoga pants Pootling

You have all given me things to think about thanks.
