I'm not great at retinols as I don't really use them (apart from Sunday Riley Luna), so won't advise there, but will give the other bits a go.
Unless you are oily/clogged/spotty I wouldn't worry about salicylic acid too much. Stick to glycolic. Liquid Gold is a treatment that is used after cleansing two or three times a week. Strong glycolic content. You use it after cleansing with nothing else on top.
If you also want something gentle for acid toning on other days lots of people love Pixiglow and the Nip + Fab glycolic pads (I prefer the latter personally, but I think I'm in the minority).
I'd recommend a couple of serums. I use different ones night and day. Save the more brightening one for day (a lovely glow is a bit wasted at night!). Vitamin C is a good place to start, but you could do better than the Body Shop. A good one that won't break the bank is Avalon Vitamin C Vitality Facial Serum (I get mine from Vitamin Grocer).
Nice firming ones that are also good for lines are Cell Food by Elemental Herbology and Arctic Elixir by Skyn Iceland. I'd recommend the former if you are more on the dry side. Both help with the collagen production.
My favourite day cream is Elemental Herbology (bit of a theme here!) Cell Plumping Facial Hydrator. Again, will help with collagen production. Lovely under make up. Just love this and wouldn't be without it now. The SPF (8) is a joke though, so rely on something else for that.
I don't use a night cream with peptides so hopefully someone else will have a good recommendation for that. I'm still looking for my holy grail night cream.
