When did Wallis turn so dire?

I remember always finding something I liked in there in nice natural fabrics. Their coast were always amazing.

But now...yegods, itmismjust awful. Why did it turn so crap?

I know what you mean. I used to get lots of nice things from there for work but it has to be at least a year or two since I've found anything I liked. Everything seems to be polyester or acrylic static nastiness. It's a shame.

But the prints! I stopped buying there about 8 or 9 years ago.

Some of the prints are truly horrible. Really lurid. Also everything seems to have tacky "gold" buttons on which immediately makes the clothes look cheap (which they're not!). Not good.

I bought loads from there 6-7 years ago. The only thing I have bought recently are some jeans that fit really well and a plain silver top for going out. Far too much colour and busyness going on, on most of their clothes otherwise.
