Another perfume one - trying to find ginger and cardamom scent

Tried a ginger and cardamom perfume and stupidly didn't take a note of the name. Loved it, the scent lasted for hours and it was beautifully spicy and wintery without being overpowering. Can anyone help with suggestions of what it may have been. I THINK it was about £45, the bottle label was 'handwritten' and I think French and it certainly wasn't a big name brand.

Could it have been this?

Jo Malone Dark Amber and Ginger lily has both Cardamom and ginger but doesn't come in hand-written bottles.Fragonard do a couple of Ginger perfumes (Gingembre is gorgeous) and is french, but the labels are not hand written.Try asking on the Fragantica forum.

There's an hermes one with ginger and cardamom in it. It's available in selfridges and it's called something to do with 'after the rain', (apres Le mousson?). Something like that. It's gorgeous

Atelier Cologne Trefle Pur contains cardamon... Do you remember which shop sold it?

gohugatree · 08/10/2015 08:05

It's none of the above, but if I can't find 'the one' this gives me some great ideas.

Oh, we were on holiday and I'm sure it was a small shop in Norwich but can't remember where - it was the kind of place that sold scarves and bags and candles etc as well as perfume and toiletries.

I think it might have been one of the shops in the Norwich lanes that you visited.
