Anyone use this? Is it any good? My skin is very sensitive/reactive and breakout prone....

I love it and always buy a bottle or two when it's half price. My skin isn't very sensitive or breakout prone though.

The Body shop camomile cleansing butter is very gentle

pangolina · 02/03/2019 11:16

I've just started using the camomile butter and it is amazing. I have rosacea and bought it mid flare up and it has soothed it incredibly

dontgobaconmyheart · 02/03/2019 11:53

I've tried it before and it was just...Ok. I'm not unconvinced it didn't break me out. It was an effective first cleanse though, and felt nice-but I wouldn't have used it alone as it left residue.,(but i wouldnt any oil in its defence)

It is slightly fragranced OP so if you're super sensitive bear that in mind. The amount of actual chamomile in it is also virtually negligible Hmm it's right at the back end of the ingredients list, with the core mixture being soy oil, sunflower seed oil and sweet almond oil.

I actually preferred the Simple hydrating cleansing oil, which was also cheaper.

The cleanser shouldn’t leave residue as it is wiped off with a warm muslin or face cloth

Switsy · 02/03/2019 13:20

I like it and prefer it to the Camomile Butter. Would always follow up with a cream cleanser too though.

dontgobaconmyheart · 02/03/2019 18:26

yes agreed Thomas it shouldn't- and I do always use a cloth, but it did, and I still felt there was something 'on' my face afterwards that didn't sink in in the way that some other oil cleanser's i've tried have, even though it allegedly emulsifies. I suppose everyone's skin is different!

Not a problem really if i otherwise liked it or rated the ingredients, as i would always do a second cream cleanse but just saying, it was nothing special for me, for the price particularly.

I have recently discovered this. My skin breaks out easily, plus it's dry, so it works really well. I'd defo recommend it.

I really like it and I liked the simple one mentioned as well. I'm currently using a Yes To coconut cleansing balm which I'm also enjoying. That comes with a nice little coconutty sponge too.
