It's my mums birthday coming up and she has asked for a nice body cream. I want to get her something abit posh and luxurious but don't know where to start!

She does suffer from eczema so nothing too strong/perfumed/harsh.

Don't really want to spend more than £20.

Thanks in advance Smile

Body shop spa range especially the camellia cream is really gorgeous, the smell and texture. I'm using up all my current creams so I stock up with these. It's £23 though.

Also really like sanctuary body butter which is a fair bit cheaper they also do a dry oil which is lovely

Steamcream is lovely. You can get it from debenhams and it comes in the most beautiful little tins. It has a lavender smell which dissipates basically as soon as you use it.

I was also going to recommend sanctuary and the body shop! Tk Maxx often have some really posh ones in for not a lot of money.

Will have a look at those, thankyou!

I love L'Occitane creams, and their shea butter hand creams work wonders for the occasional eczema I get on my hands.

Bodyshop basically has a permanent 40% off if you look for discount vouchers online.

Korres body products smell really nice and are reasonably priced.

The Champneys ones are lovely (can get them in Boots). Big tubs that look nice in the bathroom and the smells are beautiful. Oh, and they are pretty good at moisturising Grin

Neal's Yard products are absolutely gorgeous and less likely than others to irritate her skin. If you pick the right one (phone or go into a shop) it may even help to calm her eczema a little.

She has lots of neals yard stuff already, my brother works next door to a shop and isn't very imaginative so she gets it every birthday and Christmas! So want to get her something different, l'occitane is looking good but will try tk maxx first.

I would have said neals yard! Using it for first time and its lovely.
Sanctuary and champeneys lovely but my choice would be LUSH. Dream cream really nice, there are others but tje names escape me.

Lj8893 · 06/10/2015 18:21

Ah she hates lush, she won't set foot in a shop as it gives her a headache. I used to love it but then I had to walk past the factory on my way to my old workplace, the factory was next to the rubbish depot and the two smells combined have put me right off. Gross.

Yes I guess you either love it or hate it. You can smell the shop a mile off
