Flattering trousers for exercise??

I am happy to wear any old thing for jogging/lifting weights in my garage but have recently started a dance class and am not feeling confident with what I wear. The class is full of all shapes and sizes but I hate the way I look in the mahoosive mirror which covers one wall. I have been wearing leggings and a tshirt but I look bloody awful! I am 5'6", size 14 hourglass with a wobbly tummy. Do flattering trousers/bottoms exist? Help!

TK Max have a good selection of different sorts of gym wear. I have just bought some new legging type things - quite loose fitting so I can move properly, and quite flattering.

I'd go for compression tights. Lift and squeeze most parts of you...

I like the USA Pro crop leggings from sports direct. I've got a grey pair with black flowery print.

Lululemon - very flattering but also very expensive.

You're about my build. Try karrimor running trousers - they have an inbuilt bit at the top that stops the wobble. Cheap, too

Nike 7/8 length (ankle crop) leggings... not quite lululemon but affordable and v durable. Some nice prints out there bit black v slimming

I've been really impressed with Gap's sports leggings - non-see through, good price (often on sale or with one of their discounts), flattering. It's worth ordering loads (there's always more online than instore, unless you've got a fantastic Gap near you), trying them on, doing the bend over pants test and a few star jumps to make sure they don't move! Then return the duds.

Check for see throughness when doing a squat.

Thanks all - I'll check those out.

I' m not happy with my legs, so avoid leggings altogether.

I wear palazzo type trousers- mine are from gap, then a ribbed vest to control the wobbly tum and a t-shirt over the top.

I can't say I look amazing, but I don't frighten people. Grin
