Getting a ring re-sized

My engagement ring is too tight and I want to get it re-sized. I know it probably depends on the individual ring but I was just wondering if anyone knows what the ball-park price would be for getting something like that done?

I had an 18 carat emerald ring made larger a couple of years ago it cost about £50.

I had a diamond solitaire ring and a half eternity ring resizing a whole size bigger for £75. The jeweller said the main cost was the labour of resetting the stones on the eternity ring though.

Thanks for the replies. That sounds pretty reasonable.

If its only the case of stretching it out (so a size up maybe two at a push) then probably £40-£60 depending on where you go. I have had a few sized up and down in the last couple years.

I had my engagement ring done for £40 in London, it is a very thin band Art Nouveau ring and was also completely mishappen, I took it to Hatton Garden first and was quoted £200 so told them to stuff it.
