Are their boots of decent quality? And if so, how is the fit (I have wide-ish feet).

Looking at these boots and wondering if they are worth buying.

Thank you

Yes, but they come up small. I'm usually a 7 but have to order an 8 in Fly London.

Yes love mine, bought them 9 years ago and they're still going strong. I have narrow feet and mine are pretty slim fitting.

blodynmawr · 05/10/2015 07:13

I have wide feet and have several pairs of Fly shoes and boots. V comfy and hard wearing! Agree with Mrs re sizing up.

Silverstreaks · 05/10/2015 07:44

The shoes has always been good quality which is why I've bought a pair of ankle boots from them.
I've always found them true to size. I was a forty\7 and still am with Fly London unlike some or the other companies who fiddle arsed around and now I'm supposed to be a 7.5 or a 42!

DeathMetalMum · 05/10/2015 07:51

I bought some recently and love them, however I had to size down on mine, normally a 4 went down to a 3 and they are still slightly roomy (fine with two pairs of socks), they are unlined though. I'd read reviews of the actual pair for sizing.

Judydreamsofhorses · 05/10/2015 12:00

I ordered a pair of the Chelsea boots (London Salv) and reviews say they come up big and wide - will report back when they arrive! I ordered my usual size (4) because my feet are very wide.

hiccupgirl · 05/10/2015 13:26

I've just got a pair of the Fly London Salv and they come up big. I'm normally 6.5 with wide feet and the 6 fits perfectly. They're really comfy and good quality.

mejon · 05/10/2015 13:51

I have the Salv boots too. I sized up with the first pair as I'd heard they were small fitting but they're too big tbh so I use an extra insole in them. They're incredibly comfy and I've never had a problem wearing them in the rain. I've just bought a 2nd pair and went for my normal size 4 and as soon as they soften they'll be fine.

WaitroseEssentialPancetta · 05/10/2015 14:33

They are nice quality but my calves are too big for the knee highs Sad i have quite skinny legs but walk a lot

EmmaWoodlouse · 05/10/2015 17:04

Ooh, they're lovely!

I haven't had Fly boots but I've had more than one pair of their shoes and I took exactly the same size in those as I usually do (size 7). It sounds as if the sizing must vary a bit from style to style so it would definitely be worth trying them on in person.

I have two pairs of fly boots (mol and Mes) and they're great. I can't rate them highly enough.
