Boring I know, but where is it again that everyone raves about for slippers? I'm so sick of slippers only lasting one winter. Thanks

Celtic and Co?

JeffsanArsehole · 04/10/2015 20:58

Celtic sheepskin shortie boots (had mine 6 years)

Or their mules, they're sturdy

Or their slides, very thin soles so indoor use. Only

I just love Celtic sheepskin stuff, their boots, their clothes - everything

Moshulu!

I think uggs ones are meant to be amazing but they're megabucks. Fwiw (and I appreciate this is neither a stylish nor popular suggestion) I have some fur lined crocs- great for popping out to the bins etc and soooooo comfortable, they're coming into their 3rd winter, a never-before-managed achievement for slippers in the snapple household!

BlandandInsipid · 04/10/2015 21:07

Nordikas - so comfy and last years.

I had the Celtic & Co slides and they were lovely and cosy, but I totally wore them out in 3 winters. They were trashed. It felt like a lot of money for only three years. Might try the booties though.

These ones, Jeff ?
Thanks for all the suggestions, I will go and look them all up! It's longevity I'm after, so I like the idea of 6 years and still going strong Smile

The website www.rubbersole.co.uk has great slippers

I have some Sorel grey suede ones that I'm really loving

Nordikas are brilliant - I once found some on a market stall, they indeed lasted several years.

WipsGlitter · 04/10/2015 22:10

I have ugg ones and they are fab.

I've got some bedroom athletics sheepskin slippers which were expensive and are cosy. I also have a pair of fleece lined crocs which are spectacularly horrible but which I've worn regularly for about ten years. I agree with Apple they are really good around the house shoes though totally not presentable.
