I like Lisa Eldridge videos for overall looks, but struggle with my eyes - liner/mascara combo usually smudges if I try to do anything other than a basic line.

Can anyone recommend a good online idiot prof tutorial to fabulous eyes?

So do you mean for winged eyeliner?

CarpeJugulum · 03/10/2015 16:42

Anything really. I do a very simple line, very close in to the eyelashes, and then anything else smudges making me look drunk! Blush

There are TONS of step by step tutorials in pinterest. Just search for the type of eye make up plus 'tutorial' (e.g. smokey eye tutorial, or daytime eye make up tutorial).

I like Pixiwoo

bluebump · 03/10/2015 17:15

Yes, I second Pixiwoo.

I can't remember his proper name but the dylsx... Guy and the other guy people on here always rave about are good... Argh someone in the know please come along!

CarpeJugulum · 04/10/2015 15:49

Thank you for all of these suggestions! I'll be studying them intently, although I suspect the problem is more my crack-handedness, and the putting it on and not feeling like "me". It's probably a confidence thing!

Definitely Pixiwoo they are fabulous

Wayne Goss is great too.

WhyDoesGastonBark · 05/10/2015 15:33

Wayne Goss is the one I meant!

CarpeJugulum · 09/10/2015 19:08

Ooh, I like the Wayne Goss tutorials. The disappearing pores is great.

Love Wayne Goss!
Lisa Eldridge just seems to show you how she does her own make up.

CarpeJugulum · 09/10/2015 23:15

Yes! I love the look, but it isn't "me" iyswim?

I want covered spots and safe daily make up (with a twist!) but not glamour daily, Practical not weird!

I really like the Bobbi Brown tutorials, she has a really good one for a natural/classic eye
