Finally bought a Lumea. Some questions...

Ok after coveting one for ages I bought one this week and have duly done legs, bikini and pits. All good. Although I may need to buy some goggles for future use.
If you have a Lumea how often do you use yours? It says in the booklet every 2 weeks but I wondered if every week would be ok to start?
Also how many sessions did you use yours before you noticed any hair loss.
I'm guessing it's not as strong as the salon IPL machines and will only cause hair retardation (apologies if that isn't the correct term, what I mean is it pauses the hair growth) but if I used it for a year and then stopped, would ALL the hair grow back or will it eventually all die off?

I'm hoping for one of these for Christmas so watching with interest

Every two weeks, took about 3 goes on underarms, and 5 times on legs (but I don't think I did that very accurately). Best money I ever spent. I think the hair would probably grow back, but not had mine that long.

Knackered How often are you shaving now? At the moment I have to shave every day or I have stubbly legs. I hate it!

Hoping to get one, and want to use on my face too.

I don't shave at all now, just go over with the lumea. After i used it 4 times on my legs, I noticed that there wasn't really any hair to shave off on the third day. I used to shave every day in the summer.

Lurking for info....I am really disappointed with my Lumea. Used it about 7 times on my legs every 2 weeks and still have to shave every other day. It has literally made no difference at all.

I used the highest setting, no 5. I have very dark hair and light olive Asian skin.

I have one of these since June. I have used it maybe 3 or 4 times on various spots. The hair does grow back but almost invisible and like fluff. If u had any hormonal type of thick hair that grows in the same spot every month, it works really well on that. Mine so far haven't returned.
