They are cigarette. I love shortish trousers with a turn up but don't like wearing skinnies unless I have no socks on, living in NI this is not possible past September Grin.
They are a slim leg and ankle skimmy.
I wear leather Converse hi tops and look fantastic Wink

I was admiring a woman wearing cigarette trousers yesterday and bewailing my inherited thick ankles. I always think I would just look like I was wearing trousers that are too short for me ....

Cocolepew · 02/10/2015 12:14

I love short trousers. My mum says, I used to roll my jeans up to my knees when I was little .Being a flare wearing child of the 70's I can't say it was my best look Grin

ah, I bet you were just showing off your Bay City Rollers socks underneath ...

CreviceImp · 02/10/2015 12:45

I have these and they are brilliant. I have thin ankles on otherwise more, erm, chunkier legs and they skim past the worst yet because they show off the ankle look really flattering. I am pretty short too. I sized down and they don't get baggier as the day goes on.

Possibly the best jeans I have ever had. I wear them with brogues,Birkenstocks, Fly Mes as well as ankle boots. They are skinny enough to be shoved into over the knee boots too.

I am an apple shaped 12-14 and they slim my stomach down too.

Cocolepew · 02/10/2015 13:24

I was too young for the Bay City Rollers, nowttle Jimmy Osmond…

I might try a size down too, I needed my belt yesterday.

I looked at them in the shop today and they do look good. Short though. I'm going to order some.

Petal02 · 03/10/2015 08:51

I like those - could they definitely be worn with ankle boots (providing you hide your socks) when the weather gets cold?

Cocolepew · 03/10/2015 09:03

Yes, petal they could.
The turn up isnt stitched so could be let down as well.
I would try the size, I have the relaxed fit but, unlike loads of people didnt need to size down , but I think I could with these.
Saying that, I do like a slightly, umm, scruffy relaxed look though. I wear them with slouchy jumpers or sweatshirts.

I am having to return mine. They just keep falling down.

PrimalLass · 03/10/2015 10:52

I would say the sizing looks like the (old) relaxed skinnies. I.e. Size down one but not two.

On that note, they seem to have improved the denim on relaxed skinnies again.

CreviceImp · 03/10/2015 15:59

I have the relaxed skinnies but had to go down two sizes in them so they stay up. I went down one size intially and they seemed fine at first but were soon butt skimmingly baggy.

They are incredibly comfortable and don't bag around the knees like others I have had once you get the right size.
