As the title says really. I have a voucher to spend and am thinking/hoping the central London branches may have slightly more sophisticated ranges and less tat ...wishful thinking?

It varies so much though.
One of my best buys (ever in the world, not just TKMaxx) was a load of Portmerion and Spode plates (Holly&Ivy and Christmas Tree) in the Harrogate TKMaxx (years ago early Sept, very seasonal Confused

Which London ones were you thinking of?
I quite liked the Hatfield Galleria one.
Lakeside one meh

I work near the Kensington high street branch and that has lots of racks of 'gold label' stuff, which I think is some of their best, but most expensive stuff.

I once saw a lovely oral keily bag in that store, but it was still £150!!

I was thinking maybe Covent Garden...?

I work near the one on Bishopsgate and again it has a lot of higher end stock. Just near to Bank-Monument so not too far to travel from the west end.

The Charing X Road one is vast - basement is all shoes, if that's your thing. Gold label and good bits on ground floor, men and home on 1. Lingerie and bits on 2nd.

Ooh Charing x is good location for me as prob going to Soho for lunch, didn't realise there was one there... Thanks. Not really into shoes but I would like a new pair of brogues/flat lace ups.

GrimDamnFanjo · 30/09/2015 20:39

I managed to check out Charing x and Covent Garden on the same day a couple of weeks back. I prefered the Charing X branch.

VillaVillekulla · 01/10/2015 12:36

Charing X is good (4 floors!) and it's about 5 mins walk from the Covent Gdn branch (which isn't as good but you never know). The ones slightly further out often have good bargains too and slightly different ranges (eg. places like Hammersmith or Leyton).

Lndnmummy · 01/10/2015 14:48

Yes further out sometimes better, bromley is good and clapham. New cross is terrible

rageagainsttheBIL · 01/10/2015 18:22

Thanks, it really needs to be central as have limited time and am in the area anyway so think Charing x is the one.
