M&S? The only place I will get vests for dd's from. I can't link on phone but they have some that match your criteria.

Gileswithachainsaw · 30/09/2015 12:03

I just came from there and the only ones I saw had the lace trimming.

but I will take another look online incase I've missed it.

thank you Smile

Would a boys vest fit? Less lace potential! We've had soft Jersey ones from Asda before, but online has nothing (boys or girls) in a sensible size.

No idea on scratch factor, but tesco?

Gileswithachainsaw · 30/09/2015 12:18

thanks for the link, we have a set of those already. they are ok but a bit "thin" and she prefers the strappy ones as she wears alot of those sleeveless t shirt/vests.

but thanks :)

I'm dreaming of it being cold enough to wear a vest

YetAnotherUserName · 30/09/2015 12:25

I used to get vests for my DDs from Sainsbury's - no lace and washed well. I assume they were soft and not scratchy, they wore them without complaint Wink

DesertorDessert · 30/09/2015 12:26

JL with a touch of punk

DesertorDessert · 30/09/2015 12:26

Pink, not punk....

Gileswithachainsaw · 30/09/2015 12:28

Damn both the amazon and sainsbury ones would be perfect if not for the scalloped or lace trim. good prices too.

damn it

thanks anyway Flowers

Do they still wear vests at that age?

dementedpixie · 30/09/2015 12:30

Well mine didn't but may have graduated onto crop tops by then. Dd wore sports bra style crop tops from asda at that age

Gileswithachainsaw · 30/09/2015 12:30

She wears crop tops alot which are easy to find with no trims Grin

But she wants some vests aswell

dementedpixie · 30/09/2015 12:43

Was meant to say strappy

Gileswithachainsaw · 30/09/2015 12:48

That looks the best so far thanks!!! I shall pop in and pick one up and if it fits I'll grab some more.

Next have these, but they're patterned.

DesertorDessert · 30/09/2015 13:15

Sorry, hard to see the detail on this screen.
M&co or yet more Amazon

Under the boys section - but are plain white, would they do?

Etak15 · 30/09/2015 13:22

Asda do strappy style vests too - like crop top style but longer.

Gileswithachainsaw · 30/09/2015 13:33

the asda ones look good. can't tell on phone if they have the scalloped edging though will have to look on bigger screen.

like the neon ones though in white. they look good.

My dd wears these. She has an aversion to anything lacy or itch and these are lovely and soft

vests

magicpuppy · 30/09/2015 14:13

The photo of the ones I linked isn't great but they are plain. No trim around the arms. They aren't strappy though just sleeveless.

mejon · 30/09/2015 14:18

They have these in Matalan. Slightly stretchy with no lace. They've got some darker colours in the older girls' section too.

Gileswithachainsaw · 30/09/2015 14:27

Oooh those matalan ones fit the bill nicely thank you

Just came across this thread as I'm looking for vests for my dd and her criteria match your dd's OP. What did you decide in the end? Sorry and ignore if I shouldn't comment on such an old thread.
