DF funeral week after next and I need something appropriate to wear as I have nothing that now fits. Struggling with all the funeral arrangements anyway, let alone going shopping for an outfit so any pointers appreciated. I have no confidence in dressing even though I am now back below dc pre-pregnancy weight, as my shape has changed.
5ft 2 with fairly broad back, bugger all chest (thanks dc), large arse and thighs. small c-sec overhang which I am very self conscious about even though my actual waist is smallish. I'm a size 10 in running attire which is tight lycra so probably a 10/12 in most shops? Pale colouring so all black generally washes me out.
Needs to be funeral appropriate but not victorian era mourning and suitable for work (office, smart ish) once I'm no longer on maternity leave. Budget is fairly flexible.
