I want a chunky fringe. I have thick hair but for some annoying reason, not as thick around my forehead. I have had hairdressers try everywhere way - taking it further back/blunt cutting/swapping parting etc and it still looks a bit feeble and I still have a cowslick.

A friend suggested a few extensions around the fringe area. It I wouldn't have. Clue if that was a good idea or where to go

I a, 40 and. It very 'extensiony' by nature but I'd give it a go. I can't be arsed with clip in fringes and think they look a bit toupee Blush

Any advice/recommendations? I'm West London but don't mind travelling.

I have this too! I would maybe have suggested a few clip ins for quickness/ easiness however they do have a tendency to pull. So that might not be the best if (like me) the hair there has lots of baby hair and is prone to thinning due to the fragile nature? You might find they actually make it worse!

Your best bet would probably be to speak to a hairdresser and see if a few expertly placed bonds around that area would help without stressing the existing hair too much.

For me personally, i have grown mines and tend to keep it off my face, parted in the middle and then swooped back in a sort of 60s style middle part. I'll attatch a pic incase this may work for you too!
