Leggings recommendation

I want some good quality black leggings that won't bag on the knees and are opaque. Where do you get yours from?

I have some from Boden. They are in their 4th year and haven't sagged or bobbled or gone thin. They aren't shiny at all and stay up. Highly recommended. They were about £16 I think.

H&M thick leggings, they are the BOMB

Germgirl · 28/09/2015 07:23

Sainsburys. The single pack super soft ones. Not the double pack. They're about £10 and they're brilliant. Thick, not at all see through and very warm.

Icanseeclearly · 28/09/2015 07:27

I agree, h&m are excellent. The only ones I've found that fit well, don't sag etc. They don't go shiney - so long as you buy the right size rather than trying to squeeze Grin

Whoknewitcouldbeso · 28/09/2015 07:51

I have heard good things about Sainsburys. I get mine from Peacocks, £12 for two, ankle length and nice material that's never bagged on me.

ItGoesWithoutSaying · 28/09/2015 09:21

Another vote for the H&M "Heavy Leggings". They are good and thick and retain their shape. No sign of your knickers through these! Unusually for H&M you may need to size down.

ridinghighinapril · 28/09/2015 09:39

Sainsbury's - thick (not see through), keep their shape and colour and stay up. I think they may also come in different lengths (short, reg & long).

GooodMythicalMorning · 28/09/2015 09:49

I say Sainsbury's too. Theyre excellent.

vdbfamily · 28/09/2015 10:29

We got Sainsburys for my 12 year old DD who is 5'11". The long length are perfect on her 36" legs. However I have already had to sew up one seam after one wash as the stitching came loose. Hoping it's a one-off as she loves them so much she has asked me to buy 2 more pairs.

Coastingit · 28/09/2015 11:57

Sainsbos here, just make sure it's the individual £10 ones. Thick and lovely. Annoyed they aren't doing charcoal this year though.

ShesARumUn · 28/09/2015 12:05

I have Boden ones - in their third or fourth year. They are brilliant and not that expensive when bought with a 20% code - there's one now on the Promo codes thread.

Marmaladybird · 28/09/2015 12:16

I buy high waist leggings from River Island. They're about £12 and have side seams and a thick bandeau style high waist. I absolutely love them. Other leggings around the same price are usually too thin or bobble in the wash. These ones do not bobble at all ever, they don't go baggy at the knees either (but I have massive boxers knees so it's never really an issue).

These are them - and they're only £10 - my mistake.

blibblobblub · 28/09/2015 12:23

YY River Island. They do sometimes fade a little though.

Dancergirl · 28/09/2015 14:02

Another vote for Boden here.

I also really like White Stuff leggings, not sure if they come in black though. I have a dark grey pair, they are fab.
