I'm a ball on sticks. What can I wear?

I probably shouldnt be posting here as I'm most definitely neither stylish nor beautiful, but maybe someone can help.
I am very fat, but I'm losing weight, in the last 5 months I've lost over 6 stone and I'm now a very very odd shape.
My legs are almost thin, I have no bum whatsoever, all my weight is now on my stomach and lower stomach.
Basically I look like a lemon on cocktail sticks.
My boobs have vanished :(
I think I'm around a size 20 bottom, 26-28 top. I realise this is still massive but bear in mind I was size 34-36 top and around 26-28 bottom.
I'm living in leggings and tunic tops or my husbands North Face hoodie, but I want to buy some proper clothes.
Hopefully I won't need them for very long as I'm still shrinking and I know I'll have to buy from the fat lady shops.
But what I really want to ask is, what shapes should I be looking for? I need to cover my gut, I have a horrible 'front bum' effect which means I have to wear long tops but I find anything that's tight at the bottom makes me look even more like a ball on sticks.
Most of my tops are like short dresses, gathered under my vastly diminished bust and flaring out, but that's very boring and just screams 'fat lady clothes'.
What kind of thing should I look for? Shirts? Dresses?
I recently bought some skinny jeans (sainsburys!) which fit but would I be better in bootcut to balance me out a bit?
Basically, how does one dress a ball on legs?

This type of dress suits my shape. Note though that I have small boobs despite having big upper body/tummy

For arms I just wear a cover up.

So something like this, OP. Fitted, then flares at the waist. Don't be afraid to show off your shapely legs.

Bought some bootcut jeans in dark blue the other day. I'll try those with my new long sleeve t shirt that just covers the overhanging belly.
Thanks for the tips & links. I'll have a better look later. Definitely want to get a dress, just for something different to wear as I'm usually in leggings and hoodies or tunics. I'd like to look a little more ladylike for a change :)

Well done on the jeans. They are often the hardest thing to buy. What ones did you get?

I love the third dress you linked - the Fashion World swing dress. I was going to order but no in stock in my size.
