Currently wanting a pair of platform brogue style shoes in tan - have seen these www.grenson.co.uk/en_gb/shop/emily-4732 but too spendy for me, has anyone seen anything similar on their travels?

The clumpy orthopaedic looking soles completely ruin those imo.

Why do you want platforms specifically? Flat brogues are much nicer. Or heels.

Same brand, infinitely nicer and cheaper too.

Oooh they're lovely OP and not so keen on the 2nd pair. Not seen any similar/cheaper but ASOS sometimes have them so may be worth a look.

Try The Outnet, not exactly the colour you want but good prices and excellent service. Much better than Grensons direct - I had a bit of a nightmare with their customer service but they are fab shoes, beautifully made and the fat sole makes them very comfy.

They are beautifully made shoes so not sure anyone else will sell anything as good. Russell and Bromley ones are even more! I think if you want them, go for them! Nothing else will compare!

"Lime" by Carvela Kurt Geiger may be of interest but in black.

thanks for the suggestions.. will ponder, quite like the Carvela ones too.. but want tan. Story of my life, I will buy 4 pairs of 'not quite' when I should have gone for the thing I really wanted in the first place.. and end up spending more in the process.
