Problem finding shoes. The Boot Makers - any experiences?

Hello. I am desperate to find shoes/boots that actually fit my feet. I have very small ankles and very narrow heels, meaning that I walk straight out of the vast majority of shoes in my size. I am not being picky with regards to style or colour at all. Off the shelf shoes simply don't fit me. Every year the same problems, just trying to find one or two pairs that I can wear every day. (The front of my feet are a normal width by the way; it's the heels and ankles which are much narrower than average.)

I have tried the narrow width shoes from Duo Boots/Ted & Muffy -- very expensive (!) but still don't fit.

So now I am thinking about The Boot Makers www.thebootmakers.com . Even more expensive than Ted & Muffy, but I'd be willing to pay their prices IF the shoes fit me.

Problem is, how I can be sure. Firstly, they don't do half sizes. I'm a size 4 1/2. Second, they do custom ankle width but that may still leave me with issues with the heels. Thirdly, their only telephone number is a mobile number which goes straight to voice mail. Dubious.

I'd be grateful for any words of wisdom generally and specifically any experiences with the above mentioned company.
