Wide calf and slim ankle knee high boots?

My lovey, beautiful, perfect fit boots have died and I need a replacement. Smart enough to wear with dresses to work and wide enough to fit my chunky calf muscles. Has anyone seen something that would fit the bill?

I had some years ago from Clarkes that had elastic panels and could fit my super chunky calves. I fear they are about to die.
Now, I'm going to whisper this, but Hotter have some that look like a likely replacement.
They are called Bryony I think.

Heels or flat?

They do them in black too

Flat preferably, I need something that can take me from the 8am school runs/nursery run to a day at work and after school activities with the kids so comfort and style if possible.

Those are nice Blodss, where are they from? Not sure is 'smart' enough but would be lovely for the weekend.

Watching with interest. I'm after a knee high boots with heels that'll fit my large calfs but I just can't afford Duo, or whatever their stupid name is now.

I had some flat boots with elastic panels last year which lasted well and were really comfortable but tbh the elastic isn't exactly classy :(

WhiteHairReally · 24/09/2015 23:17

Duo's 'stupid new name' is Ted and Muffy, or is that the other way round? My Duo boots have another year in them, I hope but I suspect the name change has brought an excuse to make the boots even more expensive. I've never been that convinced of Duo's quality either.

I am tempted by these from Jones but would have preferred more £ or ££ to £££.

My £40 asda boots have another year in them, I'm definitely not going to pay £300 for the same thing. The styles are really nice but the prices take the piss

Blodss · 24/09/2015 23:35

They are from Clarks and they have them in black which look smarter I think. They are £100

I cant decide which colour to have myself
