Shoes to go with this dress?

I have this dress for a wedding in Novemeber. When I ordered it (saw it in store but they didn't have my size) I decided I would go bare legged and wear my favourite heels which are a glittery champagne colour, but it has arrived today and it is SO short . It fits perfectly elsewhere and I have been looking for a dress for the wedding for months so I really don't want to return. So I was thinking of wearing black tights and either navy or burgundy heels? But obviously I can't seem to find any I like. I prefer to have a bit of support across the front of the foot, either a t-bar or cross over, and a maximum heel height of 4.5 inches. Does such a thing exist? Has anyone seen something suitable or have any better ideas?

I can't see it working with black tights and dark heels, not with the strappy top. I think your champagne sparklers sound better. Or get a more autumnal dress (sorry).

I think you need another dress. That isn't a dress for wearing with black tights and heels. I think the only way you could get away with the tights is if you were wearing it with a biker jacket and ankle boots - which would be a rather different look to the one you are trying to achieve! If it is really that short I'm also not sure it is really appropriate wedding wear anyway, I just measured the 65cm it says it is in length and it seems more like a swimming costume!

It's clear from the photo that that is a micro micro mini and is totally not suitable for a wedding!!

As said above, black tights won't with with the strappy summer dress vibe of the neckline.

I think you need a new dress .

It didn't look anywhere near as short in the shop and I have just measure it and it is 74cm in length still. Would someone like to find me a new dress then!
