M&S copies are much cheaper, but it is best to stick with the original idea? Are they worth the extra money?

Yes, 100% better. I have never found a comparable product on the high street. The cheap ones just suck you in like a sausage, the real ones shape you nicely and are far more comfortable. They also have far more options, I wear ones that have loops for around your bra that keep them up. Well worth the money IMO.

Home Bargains has Spanx for £4.99 last week. Might be worth having a look if you have one local to you. They were the up to the bra down to mid thigh shorts ones.

Oh balls, don't have one of them round here - that sounds v cheap!!

I find marks and Spencer version very good, wear them almost every day - very comfortable

I've got Spanx & M&S slips and I much prefer the M&S slips.

burnishedsilver · 24/09/2015 14:23

Yes.
TK Maxx have Spanx.

Corygal · 24/09/2015 15:36

Absolutely yes, Spanx don't hurt even after 15 hours and the only comparable ones are Primark.

Don't pay full price, you can get them in TK at the mo. And the Tight-end tights are superb - indestructible and the only comfortable tights I've ever found.

Princesspond · 24/09/2015 15:45

I've always wondered this, I have m and s ones which are OK but not sure if I'm expecting miracles Smile will keep an eye out in TK Maxx

thehousewife · 24/09/2015 15:47

Spanx win hands down!

berri · 24/09/2015 18:07

Thanks for the replies, will try TK Maxx tomorrow!
