Shoe ideas please

I'm looking forward to cracking out my shortish winter skirts and jumper dresses with opaque tights. I usually wear flat pumps but I'm a bit bored of them.

I'm not a fan of flat boots with skirts. I'd like something comfy, maybe a low heeled wedge?

Give me inspiration.....please

This may well be the question of the month...

I have a general problem about shoes with skirts in winter. I'm not great in very flat things (too dumpy) but then what do you wear for a runaround shoe iyswim? Is the answer always boots?

Oh, auto correct doesn't seem to think I can be jaunty. Haunting whistling makes me sound very interesting, though.

I found these shoe boots which I like in theory but I think they might be too dressy.
