Heat protection

I've decided to start making more of an effort with my hair, I'd like to use hair straighteners to curl it but my hair is fine and tends to split. Any recommendations for shampoo/conditioners and hair protection will be gratefully received

Not sure about specifics re shampoo and conditioner but Tresemme heat protection spray is excellent. It's on a black bottle and costs around £5 bit is often included in offers.

Thank you, I have used that one in the past, I'm sure my hair still became damaged over time though, maybe I wasn't using enough of it.
