Waterproof, smudge proof, flake proof etc liquid eyeliner?!

I'm getting married in a few weeks and the only eye make up I have ever liked or worn when dolled up is black liquid eyeliner. It suits me and more importantly I'm ok at doing a decent job of applying it BUT it alway ends up flaking or vanishing at the first hint of tears (I cry when I laugh which isn't helpful!)
Now that's fine for a night down the pub but not really acceptable on my fast approaching (gulp) big day. Is there a truly long lasting, indestructible brand out there? Budget or pricey, I'd love your recommendations! Smile

Right. I have bought every single liquid eyeliner that exists, high end and drug store and the most long wearing and least likely to smudge is the Boots Seventeen Tattoo Me Semi Permanent Liquid Eyeliner. It's out of stock on their site but you'd get in store. It's incredible. A really blackest black matte finish that goes nowhere.

I also love

The Balm Schwing liner (again, brilliant staying power)
Estee Lauder Double Wear liner
NYX Noir Eyeliner
Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Liner

Ooh and congrats!

Rimmel liquid eyeliner is my favourite. I wore it on my wedding day. Unmovable!

Urban decay eye primer stops anything budging! I then use Chanel, which doesn't move all day (or night when I leave it on).

Thanks everyone! So is the primer like a cream that I apply first?

I second the urban decay eye primer and shu uemura under base primer is incredible. Your foundation goes on like it's covering glass and it stays ALL day. It was my must have on my wedding day.

Yes, the primer goes on your eyelid - costs £8 and lasts for ages. Any make up you put on then does not budge at ALL. It's such a good addition, can't believe it took me years to discover. I have flawless cat eyes eyeliner with this stuff. I think there's a Sali Hughes tutorial on doing the classic flick that shows how to apply it!
