I fear some folk have peaked too early.

I as the EPITOME of glamour bought some cool patent loafers from Tesco yesterday, quality plastic

Pixi are they truely comfy? They have terrible reviews!

BrandNewAndImproved · 22/09/2015 19:57

Agree I'm still in dolly shoes and a really nice t bar patent almost school shoes. Looks nicer then what I've described.

My feet would be to hot for boots atm and once you put them on they don't come off.

GeorginaWorsley · 22/09/2015 20:23

Am interested in these Tesco patent shoes if which you speak Brenda
I'll look on website.

lurkingabit · 22/09/2015 20:30

Brenda did you say plastic shoes

Were you not boiling in them??

leccybill · 22/09/2015 20:42

I'm thinking of getting these navy brogues for the interim period. Far too soon for boots. Although I do have socks on today (with hi-tops).

Judydreamsofhorses · 22/09/2015 20:46

Scotland here - boots and opaques on sporadically throughout "summer", definitely, firmly, on now. I don't do knee-high or similar, so it's Chelsea boots and biker boots all the way. I just bought some Ugg leather Chelsea boots for when it gets really cold/wet. They have the holy grail of a good soleand are allegedly waterproof.

GeorginaWorsley · 22/09/2015 20:58

Ooh I like those.
Discount time at Sainsbury thus week too.
I love navy, I do Smile

Hassled · 22/09/2015 21:01

I was thinking earlier how I've peaked too early with my boot wearing, and that tomorrow I need to readdress the footwear thing.
Also - how many pairs of boots is too many?

Onlyconnect · 22/09/2015 21:02

No way! I delay boots and tights for as long as possible. Also no jeans in July or August and have only worn them once in September. I get really fed up of wearing the same things for months on end.

BaconAndAvocado · 22/09/2015 21:30

Ooohh I wore my boots for the first time today with thick woolly tights and it felt marvellously warm and cosy.

Really want to wear my Sainsburys patent loafers but they gave me the mother of all blisters last week. I think I have to accept at my age and with my bunions only Clarks will do.......or Primark wide fit Smile

JaceLancs · 22/09/2015 21:45

Too early for boots here yet in my opinion - although I am working up to it - just had black ankle boots soled and heeled as can't find new ones that I like as much - bought some grey ankle boots and found a brown pair is forgotten about!!
Still not ready to pack away sandals n get all my other boots out
How many is too many - almost never - I must have at least 20 different types of boot in various colours and heel heights
I'm currently enjoying brogues and a variety of different coloured pointy flats or pointy low heels
High heels are an all year round trend for me as I do rarely wear them from a comfort point of view

PacificDogwod · 22/09/2015 21:47

I was out of boots again today! Grin

Wore them yesterday, stylish heeled grey loafers from Pied a Terre today - £15 ebay bargain.

Coastingit · 22/09/2015 21:48

Ash virgins here - new and the best purchase ever. Perfect as warm comfy and reasonably waterproof (wellies for today school run though!) yet don't look massively wintery.

Plus I got some white skinnies and worn with the virgins I feel like the coolest kid in town.

Pixi2 · 25/09/2015 19:01

Orange squash-I've half no problems with them at all. I have small, narrow feet though. One of my dsis has wide feet and she wouldn't even consider trying them on.

I have flu, the kids wanted to go to the park after school, I put my fur lined winter boots on as I was shivering. I will be going back to my shoes.

Pixi2 · 25/09/2015 19:02

Half=had
Kids=DC

I told you that I was ill.

Lucylloyd13 · 26/09/2015 06:44

you should not wear boots before 1st October or after 31st March.

Sapele · 26/09/2015 06:48

You'll get corns.

By the way I am in boots.
