NoNo hair removal thing

Has anyone tries one of these for facial hair? (Chin and tache) Is it effective and easy to use? Can't afford one of those Lumea things but the NoNos are about £100 on Amazon and I have a £50 voucher so I was wondering if it is worth the money.

They get pretty bad reviews I'm afraid. It works by scorching off the hair so the removal won't last any longer than cream or razor, and when I was considering it I was put off by quite a lot of reviews saying that you need to buy replacement something or other quite regularly so it doesn't work out all that cheap. A few people said they'd even had some small burns from the device.

Thermicon tips, that's the thingy that needs regular replacement.

another MN'er has posted link to Lumea for 250£ on amazon today only- might be worth looking into

There was a thread about this a while ago. Everyone said No No No.

Apparently customer service is horrendous too and they make it very hard for you to send it back.
