Is it too early to start a winter/cold weather dressing thread?

I have a long walk on my commute. It's starting to get cold in the evenings.

Have just got a 3/4 length Gap puffer from a charity shop, which I love. It's chocolate brown so looking for some grey/silver gloves and a hat to go with it.

Am in Glasgow, was rainy but not too cold last winter.

Wondering whether to get some more "warm casual house stuff" as I live in an old tenement flat which is beautiful but cold as anything.... Maybe some polo-neck thermals.

Layers is the answer - the temperature at this time of year goes up and down until about October usually.
