I'm looking to buy some new cardies to wear over my dresses on holiday soon. Are there any nice ones in the shops?

JC has good sales . How about Anne Klein?

PetiteBateau · 16/09/2015 20:14

I saw some in tesco

I really like H&M ones, they are 100% cotton, come in loads of colours and are about £15 (I think from memory).

Food = good!

I'm often pleasantly surprised by the cardigans and jumpers in Peacocks. Always seem to be good quality compared to their other clothes. Apparently Peacocks is owned by Edinburgh Wool Mill, so maybe that's why.

burnishedsilver · 16/09/2015 22:00

I second the H&M cotton cardi suggestion.

Fallstar · 16/09/2015 22:02

Yes, the H&M cotton cardies are great. I have them in four colours. The basics ones are £9.99.

PetiteBateau · 16/09/2015 22:44

I find that the h&m basics cotton cardies going really tatty quickly

John Lewis do lovely cotton ones, £30 and the quality and feel is much nicer than any others I've seen.

I've recently discovered Woolovers and love the two cardies I ordered. They don't just do wool, lots of cotton there too. Make sure you use their measuring instructions to determine your size, though, as their sizing is very different from everywhere else.

Strawberryfield12 · 17/09/2015 13:55

Woolovers is great, good materials and made in UK. The only issue I have with them is the amount of emails I get from them and the few times I tried to unsubscribe, the link didnt work.

Thanks for all these suggestions. I bought a pretty coral one from Next yesterday but still need a nice black one.I will hit the shops last week. I know the New Look cardie and I like the shape. I have one but it lost its shape very quickly.
