Interview outfit - silly question!

Office-based role.

Trouser suit and black court shoes.

What do I wear on my feet?? Socks aren't right, surely? I have worn this outfit before with black socks but I didn't like it and am keen to avoid, but I also don't particularly want to go in bare feet.

What does convention dictate?

these use nude/tan tho, ie not black.

They are awful things, but a necessary evil when mixing trousers, offices and court shoes!

Ok I had thought that but wasn't sure they'd be acceptable. Ugh horrid things.

Do they have a habit of falling down and ending up around the ankle? I couldn't cope with that...

Yep, they are terrible. But they don't wrinkle around the ankles!
