Anyone else annoyed by the big N in New Balance?

Looking at a fuchsia pair right now and I'm tempted but the big N is bothering me.

Yeah, I've rejected them on that basis. Annoying as they look comfortable.

Arnt New Balance a football kit manufacturer. Isn't the N the equivalent of the Nike Swoosh?

I guess so but for some reason I find the big N more annoying than the swoosh.

I've just bought a pair out of necessity as my old gym trainers were knackered. They are grey with a massive fuschia N on, which did put me off at first. But, they are so comfortable I can overlook it.

Who cares what they look like? They're the comfiest running shoes I've ever had. (And squash shoes too)
