UGGS or cheap fakes?

I have been looking for some sheepskin ankle boots, have had Grommies before, which were great, but I think with the design of these boots the soles just don't last very long before they look scruffy and worn. I'm tempted to just get cheapy versions if they are not going to last long anyway, but can't decide if I'll be disappointed! Anyone have any experience of comparing cheap fakes to £££?

Don't get cheapos. Get Celts or Kiwi Ultimates (I always get Kiwis, the Ultimate soles are tough as hell). Ugg brand is overpriced. Kiwis are better and half the price.

There are loads on deals on 'the real deal' at the moment. I've tried others and have always just gone back to UGGs. They last two winters IMO, and you can put them through the wash.

Try costco's own brand kirkland. A fraction of the price and last really well

I've had both and now will only have UGGs.

So much thicker and more comfy, and stay that way for longer (rather than going all flat inside).

I'm a huge fan of Celtic Sheepskin. They have great customer service too, the boots are machine washable, and after a few years you can get them resoled for a small fee. Plus you're supporting a British company.

Also a huge fan of Celtic sheepskin boots. Mine are 3 years old and don't look that bad! (Could do with a clean as I had to rescue ds from a swamp)

I had EMU's off Amazon last year, definitely recommend. Think they are the "spindle" model.

I like Kirkland and also Emu. They both wear really well and whilst not cheap, they are cheaper than Uggs.
