Hi

So tomorrow I take another step towards being 30 and since my baby was born make up just doesn't like me...it won't hang around all day!

I can't cope with going into town seeing all these flawlessly made up 14 year old girls while my face resembles a patchwork quilt...

What face cleansing prep do you recommend in the morning before applying make up?

I have combination oily/dry skin :(

Also any swear by foundations that don't cost over £20

I feel the same OP, no matter how nice my makeup looks in the morning by lunch time my eyes have smudged, my foundation looks cakey and my nose is so oily Sad I hate working with people who have flawless makeup that lasts all day.

Also interested in a good foundation (I have oily skin) so posting here to bump and hope to attract someone knowledgable Smile

Today was a prime example letme! Rushing around trying to find an outfit for the weekend got home just in time to catch my foundation about to slide off my face and hit the floor!
I'll not even scare you with how frizzy my hair was. This humid heat and post pregnancy hot flushes I have going on is not attractive one bit!
I have found since I started using nivea oil balancing moisturiser or something like that ( bit of green on the box!) My skin hasn't been as shiny

Under £20 is a tough one for foundation... Most i know of are on the cheaper end around £10 or high end over £20. I've got combination skin with very oily forehead and dry around my mouth. I like bare minerals pressed foundation which is expensive, but at the moment I've gone back to my old BareFacedBeauty mineral foundation and really like it. I think it's around £14 for a huge pot. It's online only but the shades are great and they do samples. I also tried lily lolo as that's very highly regarded on here but despite a couple attempts never got it to work for me.
