Planning on wearing this to an afternoon casual wedding reception- any suggestions on accessories very gratefully received.

How would you style this dress?

I would go for royal blue I think .
Obvious choice of black might be a bit dull . Maybe black shoe & bag
Blue pashmina .

It's a lovely dress

areyoubeingserviced · 14/09/2015 21:12

I would go for a pop of colour.
Perhaps a red shoe

Brookville · 14/09/2015 21:33

Hot pink pashmina / bag / shoes

BrendaandEddie · 14/09/2015 21:33

only one shoe?

Yes one lip and one shoe seems to be very popular

PrimalLass · 14/09/2015 21:59

There is blue in the dress, so I'd go for that. But maybe with bright pink stilettoes.

WipsGlitter · 14/09/2015 22:03

Where it from?

nilbyname · 14/09/2015 22:05

I would do a nude shoe, midnight blue fur stole. Red lip

nilbyname · 14/09/2015 22:06

Navy clutch

Crusoe · 14/09/2015 22:21

Thank you, I like the idea of bright pink or red. I would normally play it safe with black but it's time to be bold.
Then again I have a gorgeous navy clutch waiting to be used...
Decisions decisions!

Oh is that baby blue I see there.
A baby blue bag and baby blue shoes would look lovely.
Gold or silver glitter nails would look gorgeous as well.
You don't need a necklace on account of the detail on the dress.
Baby blue gold or silver hair fascinator would also be nice.
Gorgeous dress btw

Millymollymama · 14/09/2015 23:07

Please do not wear a fascinator. A bit naff these days. A good hairdo or a pill box type hat are the better solutions. Casual is no hat at all really.

BrendaandEddie · 15/09/2015 19:33

no fascinator! They are horrific

BrendaandEddie · 15/09/2015 19:34

Don't do too obvious matchy "Pop" of sodding colour

ShouldHavenotOf · 15/09/2015 20:14

God no to a fascinator, or to a pop of sodding colour, or a pashmina.

I went to an uber stylish wedding this summer; not one fascinator in sight.

MadameJosephine · 15/09/2015 21:48

Lovely dress, where did you get it?
