Supportive but pretty shoe help for fat feet!

Have had knee problems and seeing someone about it for a while, it's on the mend. But we have noticed my feet roll and need support - my trainers are excellent but unsuitable for work (teaching)

Have spent the day hunting and got these in a 4 wide.

www.clarks.co.uk/p/20350674

They fit perfectly, they are lovely for boring shoes, and I'm sure they'll be comfortable and support me at work.

But I love pretty shoes. I can't believe I will have to wear these daily, I have so many pairs of unsuitable shoes!

I do have lovely supportive fly boots for when winter comes.

But help me find something else for now. Preferably not another £60, but if so then so be it. I have wide short feet, so a 4 wide in clarks was perfect. I'm on my feet most of the day (secondary school hlta and cover) and wear mostly pencil skirts with tops or cigarette pants with shirts. I'm 5ft 4.

They need to be supportive and smart but I want a bit of individuality too. (Why I love fly) and not make me look like a school girl.

Sketchers are out - since they've put memory foam in the soles they don't support my knees like they should (hypermobile)

Have you looked at Hotter?

BlueBlueBelles · 13/09/2015 19:32

No, is that a website? We tried schuh, Jones, soletrader, Russell and Bromley (what is going on there?!) clarks, and a couple of other places.

My daughter is a teacher, and after I saw Hotter on a thread here, she bought these,

most comfortable shoes she has worn for years she said (I think they were a bit cheaper than this a couple of months ago)
and she is going to get these for winter

There were some lovely flats as well

They're lovely, but the only ones I like are suede, which I'm not keen on, or maybe not supportive enough. My feet roll as I stand and walk, so I need arch support and foot support. Sucks for pretty shoes.
