Help me find smartish, super comfortable flat sandals pls

I appear to have missed sandal season! I need a smartish pair, suitable for wearing with smart-casual wear I guess. I'm pregnant and suffering some hip pain so no heel at all, I always have fairly wide feet and now I'm pregnant even more so - UK size 6. Size 5.5 if the fit is wide enough.

I guess £50 budget if that seems reasonable? Maybe leather? Open to anything, don't mind the colour as long as it fits the brief.

Flat and smart do not always go together, but I know what you mean as a flat loving person. I've just got a pair of Geox D Tajah sandals in black for £45 (sale) from the Geox website. They very simple, comfortable and flat and are wide enough for my wider toes. They do not have a 38.5 left but have sizes either side. I like them (and liked the tan/pewter even better but all gone in my size on Amazon) but they may not be smart enough. Sorry I am no good with links.

Try salt water sandals. They look really granny on the page but really nice on.

Depends how smart/casual you want, but I have a pair of these, which have been very much admired

They're within your budget and I can confirm that they are really, really comfortable. I have quite wide feet too, and they fit well.

Look at esska India sandals but on Amazon - the prices are great on there. I've got 3 pairs..!

Right, sorry for the post-and-run, busy weekend. I appreciate the ideas.

I've never thought of Geox for me which is funny as I love them for the DC - they have several that I like in their sales section so I will have a good look now, thanks!

Salt water sandals look interesting - not very smart but nice. Do you know what the fit is like?

I'm not keen on the Office ones BIWI, sorry just not my style.

The Esska India ones look ok, bit simple but nice enough. They don't LOOK comfy though...

What is your style, Nightfall? Perhaps we can help you a bit more if we know that! Grin

ooh, the Esska india look fab.

Trust me, the esska ones are and they're comfy. Got the recommendation on here to start with.

And I blame this thread for making me look on amazon and order some more coppery delights for £22 inc postage..
