Suggest a top for me?

Would anyone like to help me to find a top, please?

I haven't really been on a proper night out in years . The odd dinner party (for which I usually dress downish - eg jersey top / dress and a bold necklace to jazz it up), and lots of bar suppers (no real need to dress up), but not a really nice night out. I feel like I've spent most of the last five years pregnant (or breastfeeding, or in a postnatal overweight phase).

Anyway, excitingly DH is taking me out for dinner on Saturday to a very nice restaurant for no reason at all, and I'd like to make a bit of an effort.

I think I'll stick to dark denim skinnies (still ok?!) or black trousers, but I'd like to find a nice top. I like navy, reds, brighter greens. I'm open to suggestions though. My usual style is probably quite boring / classic / standard school gate - I wear A LOT of Uniqlo, things like skinnies / t / cardy with Converse / Toms. I'm a size 8-10 (with bf norks, so a 10 on top, really). I'm not sure on budget - high street, up to the "nicer" end of the high street probably.

Any suggestions welcome!

I like this - the bra situation would be a decider though, would the norms behave in a strapless?

Thank you, i do like that! I'd probably get away with a strapless bra, although would need to buy one as I only have feeding bras in my current size. It's a definite maybe though, I can see myself wearing it.

Thank you all - in different ways I like all of these suggestions. The Oasis top would be adventurous for me, but it's lovely - maybe I should be brave? True to form I've left it too late for online ordering, but you've really helped me to narrow down which shops I need to dash around tomorrow morning.
