Winter-y utility jackets

I like the slouchy look of utility jackets, but they are often thin. Like this, beautiful, but basically a shirt...

Can anyone help me find a thicker/lined/warmer one without it being a full-on parka???

Budget less than 100...

Oh, and ideally dark green/khaki...

I'm looking for the same, I tried that Top Shop one and it is most definitely a shirt, and a thin cheap one at that...

This one is slightly heavier, but still very thin, fine for this lovely 19 degree Autumn we have today, but nothing cooler:

It's sold out, but Hush did one over the summer, there are a couple on eBay if you search for Hush military jacket.

There's a lovely one on J Crew, which I would consider in the sale or with a discount code, but not at that price:

Ooh, Louloubelle... I love that JCrew one! Agree about the price though, that's very steep.

No joy on Hush one... Hmm. It's one of those things that seem to be everywhere, so where are they when I want one!

DD bought a green army surplus jacket at a French market for ??35.

BoboChic · 11/09/2015 19:31

35 euros

IdentityRequest1 · 11/09/2015 20:33

BoboChic - if only! Then I'd have a jacket, and a trip to France! Grin
Any closer to home?

My DD had hers custom painted by L'Atelier de Sardine (look at Facebook) and sent by post. The customisation is, IME, beautiful - DD has a flamingo and hibiscus.

IdentityRequest1 · 12/09/2015 09:38

Oh, well now you're just rubbing it in Bobo! Wink It sounds lovely though.
Am shopping this aft, so my search continues...

If anyone sees one, let me know!

Just sharing ideas Smile. I love utility jackets in theory but they can get boring.

BoboChic · 12/09/2015 09:41

On www.amazon.fr there are lots of army surplus jackets...

louloubelle2 · 12/09/2015 09:55

This isn't what Im looking for, and I suspect might be the same for you, but just throwing it out there:

www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Coats-Jackets/Jackets/WE489/Womens-Isla-Jacket.html

Also thankme gets 20% off at J Crew if you really like that previous jacket I linked to, making it £142. Still too much?

IdentityRequest1 · 12/09/2015 10:00

Bobo - I know, and thank you - I would absolutely love a customised one, that sort of thing is right up my street!

Loulou - you're right about the Boden one, but appreciate the thought. The JCrew one is still too much really. It's a lot for what it is...

There are a few on Zappos, including some by Lucky Brand, who I've never heard of, but look lovely. Problem then is getting them to UK...
