Am looking for some casual shoes for wearing with jeans, skinnies, leggings etc and am fed up of the usual ballet flats and Converse that I normally buy. I can't afford Ash and Vans look silly on me, but saw these in Next and quite like them. I am worried, though, that they look a bit too sturdy, for want of a better word. A bit chunky or heavy. I am usually quite plain in how I dress. I'm tall so feel limited on the high Street, but shoes are one thing I can have fun with. I know they won't win any awards style-wise, but will they look odd on my skinny legs?

I cant personally say I like them but I live in jeans/ leggings and am also tall so am always I flats. Until it gets properly cold I wear Toms, Ive got black and pink but they do loads of colours.
They're very comfy and go with anything, great for everyday wear.

See, toms are too flat for me. I like them on lids, but not on me so much!

I have a similar pair of shoes in navy and like them a lot. Great for winter casual wear.

Ooh, where did you get navy ones from?

The thick white sole really puts me off. I think it makes them look plasticky and a bit cheap.

If they had a thinner sole then they'd be fine.
