I've been a firm Bare Minerals user for years, but I've fallen out of love with it recently. No matter what I do it looks flakey and patchy and I'm thinking of trying another brand.

I have combination skin & need something that doesn't take too long to put on & is fairly forgiving, because I have a newborn and a pre-schooler and I look like the living dead I've been eyeing up benefit as they have some fairly good value looking starter complexion kits and skincare kits, but is there another brand I should look at first before I commit?

I can't recommended BB cream highly enough.
It gives excellent coverage, has moisturiser in it as well SPF 15.
Unlike foundation it isn't heavy on your skin.
I'd never go back to foundation again.
So my routine is
Cleanse tone moisture.
Apply BB cream
Eye shadow.
Eye liner
Mascara
Lipstick.
Now and again I'll put bronzer on

Benefit make up is really nice. I really like the eyeshadows and the dandelion powder. I also like the posie tint version of benetint (I'm very pale).

For foundation I absolutely love YSL touch?? ??clat foundation. It goes on beautifully (I apply mine with fingers straight onto my just washed face) and it gives you a really natural look just like you have gorgeous skin with nothing on it. Highly recommended.

I use bobbi brown bb cream w spf 30 to even out my reddish pale skin, or sanctuary bronzer bb cream to give a little colour if I'm looking blue! Sleek have a great palette w bronzer, highlighter and coral blush that I wear everyday bc it's quick and easy then Lanc??me mascara. Pre-makeup u cleanse with body shop natural gel cleanser than body shop vitamin w serum oil.
