Calf length boots

So after trying some Ugg Gershwins and sending them back because they were too big round the calves, I've decided I must have some calf length boots, mainly for wearing with skirts/dresses.

I've seen these which look quite nice:

Does anyone have any other suggestions? I like sort of biker style but not too clumpy. Either black or brown.

I ordered both colours and they arrived today. They're very nice but a bit shorter than I thought. Not sure if they count as a calf length boot, they're more ankle height. Do you think they would look ok with skirts?

Any other nice calf length boots around?
