Vitamin C then Alpha H liquid gold

If I've just put vitamin C serum on my face is it safe to use the Liquid Gold later?

I've tried Googling but not got far. I just wanted to double check before I used an AHA on my face.

I don't think it's recommended as they are both acid based and too much can irritate skin. Vitamin C in the morning and LG at night would be alright though, I would think, depending on your skin sensitivity. That's what I do anyway, but I only use LG once a week or so.

Thanks, I actually used the LG after the vitamin C and all is well - no irritation at all.

Oh, I missed that bit. You'd get more benefit doing it the other way around. LG is not an acid toner in that it shouldn't be used daily, but it does work like one in that it exfoliates and preps the skin, allowing a serum to absorb better and be more effective.

I have a deluxe sample of LG and been using it this way - my skin is pretty tough though so I've been doing vit C serum followed by LG sometimes with a BHA acid in between - mainly because I want to finish up that sample! No ill effects here

Thanks I wondered if I could do the BHA toner in between, but thought I better be careful in case I made my face peel off.
