mrslebon · 05/09/2015 20:01

Jigsaw?

Chicinwellies · 05/09/2015 21:11

phase eight, Baukjen

And, possibly, for the first time in years, (??) warehouse? they have stepped it up a notch recently. In my opinion.

Gillybobs · 05/09/2015 22:29

Baukjen, me and em, banana republic, jigsaw, Wrap, plains bits from Boden

MisForMumNotMaid · 05/09/2015 22:37

I like Whitestuff also have a selection of Seasalt and Mistral. I have a big Debenhams a short walk away so have a few Mantaray bits.

I heard of Baukjen for the first time on a thread yesterday (some nice stuff too in their new in) so i'm no great source of fashion knowledge.

UrbaneFox · 05/09/2015 23:19

are masai danish? they only seem to have two outfits on the site!?

Pancakeflipper · 05/09/2015 23:26

Sandwich
Dual

Possibly a bit of Wrap

Pancakeflipper · 05/09/2015 23:27

Oh buggery. Not Dual but Sula.

I am on the wine (but it's my birthday, it's Saturday so I can)

Strawberryfield12 · 06/09/2015 09:07

Long term WC fan here, recently discovered Seasalt. Love it! A splash of colour in otherwise tuned down wardrobe.

MisForMumNotMaid · 06/09/2015 14:25

Suddenly realised i typed whitestuff rather than white company. Must have been more tired than i realised.

Carlywurly · 06/09/2015 20:21

I love the white co and mint velvet and also buy a lot from
French connection
Great Plains
In wear
Whistles

Carlywurly · 06/09/2015 20:22

Oh and hush, definitely look at hush!

ShebaQueen · 06/09/2015 20:28

I agree with Urbane re Warehouse, I've recently rediscovered them and had some good buys

GeorginaWorsley · 06/09/2015 21:29

I also agree re Warehouse.
I've had 3 dresses from them this summer and I like a lot of the autumn stuff too.

Oly5 · 06/09/2015 22:15

I love white company and also buy from Reiss, Boden and French Connection

CurlsLDN · 06/09/2015 22:19

House of Fraserburgh have recently launched grey and willow, which is basically an in house version of mint velvet.
Also nine by savannah Miller at Debenhams is lovely

BrendaandEddie · 07/09/2015 08:49

zara?
to decrease the grey in your wardrobe Grin

BrendaandEddie · 07/09/2015 08:50

no no NO NO NO to White stuff and its ilk - Fat face etc

its like when you see a middle aged man in a Hollister t shirt

Carlywurly · 09/09/2015 06:51

I still buy fron white stuff and fat face but incredibly selectively. Nothing identifiable, just the odd basic vest top or pair of tights.
I also own several gilets (this is acceptable where I live)

Generally white stuff is frump ville these days. It's giving the per una market a run for it's money. I'll see what looks like a fairly inoffensive cardigan, get closer and find they've pimped it with vile clashing buttons and a picture of a bulldog with a crown on all over the back.

BrendaandEddie · 09/09/2015 07:00

I was thinking about them as I walked past yesterday, with the ever ever chang? It is so insufferably dull

Shockers · 09/09/2015 07:22

There's a shop that sells Masai near me. It looks much better on, than off iyswim? I tend to wait for the sale though!
I don't think White Stuff is quite as frumpy as FatFace (if FF got the cut right, they'd do so much better). I have had a couple of inoffensive jumpers from there, but I agree they are veering dangerously close to Per Una in some areas, Carly!

Carlywurly · 09/09/2015 21:07

Yes! It's the fat face cut that's the issue. Nothing ever fits me properly when I try it on, even simple long sleeved tees bag and cling in the wrong places.

And everything comes in a drab sludgey range of colours. And navy.

UrbaneFox · 09/09/2015 21:10

I like some of their stuff. You don't have to take on their whole 'look'.

I wear fat face to the office! skirt from the white stuff. suits me becaues my office has a relaxed dress code.
