Socks that go over the knee?

Can anyone recommend socks that actually go over the knee, rather than just up to? I can't stand tights and need an alternative to keep my legs warm in the Autumn! I know the likes of Primark sell them but I'm concerned they wouldn't be quite long enough?

I have a pair from Next that were advertised as "extra long". Good quality, too. Don't know if they still do them. Otherwise, try a Primark pair - at about £2 a go it's worth the risk!

so stockings then ? how will they stay up over the knees?

Thank you! I got some from Primark, a few eyebrow were raised at soft play this morning, DH seems to think I'm channelling Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman Grin

Perhaps I should look at stockings instead? Do I have to wear a suspender belt? It feels a little glam for the school run!!

The sockshop has pictures galore on the other sock thread.

I have loads of socks that go to stocking length from primark. I'm small but they'd be above anyone's knee!

I get mine from M&S
