New work wardrobe - help!

Hello

I never really post in this section - because I don't know much about style or beauty - but I need help! (regular poster on other bits of the site but namechanged as I know a lot of people I work with are on here!)

I'm going for a promotion at work and I need to look the part. I've been back at work for 6 months since having my DD, I'm still bigger than I was and I just can't seem to find a look. My current role is quite casual (jeans, brogues smart-ish top, nice blazer if I'm going into an important meeting) but I need to step things up a bit!

The job is a fairly senior one. I'm on the young side for the role (I'm 30) and I look younger than I am, so want present myself so that I'm taken seriously, but with a softer look that just wearing suits all the time. The role will involve dealing with clients in quite a wide-variety of companies, from media to banks/law firms so need to be a bit flexible.

I'm a 5'7", a size 12-14 and a bit pear-shaped. i have decent legs, ok-ish arms, and an extremely saggy stomach that I'd prefer to hide!

Ideally, I'd like to create a bank of nice items I can wear in various combinations, and then add to as I go.

Would anyone take pity on my and offer some suggestions? (either of outfits or shops that are worth a look)

Thanks so much
