North Face Metropolis?

Anyone have a North Face Metropolis jacket? Are they any good for the winter in london? How are they in the rain? Are they frumpy?

I have one, I bought it thinking it would be really warm but it's not really. It's ok but I didn't pay full price for it and I'm glad I didn't.

It's useless in the rain.

Frumpy, well it's not stylish but no worse than any of that style. Probably more of a school run coat.

I would agree with Megan - I got mine in the sale so it wasn't too expensive never the less it was still a bit rubbish for the money. It wasn't as warm as you'd imagine it would be and was certainly frumpy.

I don't mind frumpy if it's keeping me really really warm. The Metropolis didn't. There are other North Face options which are 500+ down.

Thank you for the heads up. I was thinking it looks too light weight to be really warm!
