Holiday and bikini line!

Feel like I'm the only person in the world who shaves downstairs and gets a rash..everytime, without fail.

I've tried epilating and it was agonising, it's too late to get waxed as will be a first and don't want to risk getting bumps. Sooo, I've been looking into hair removal cream. Boots have one especially for that area and the reviews look quite good. My question is, will I get a rash when I get regrowth?

Thankyou and sorry to be discussing my nether regions with you, this is my honeymoon though and don't want to be paranoid about shaving rash :)

Hi moopymoodle, I have used a few hair demoal creams for my bikini line.
After suffering the agony of waxing for years I decided I wasn't putting myself through it anymore.
I do have an epilator, which I use on regrowth. But i now use a cream for holidays.
I've had no rash from regrowth.

I found that Veet seemed to make the hair grow back thicker. Maybe it is just me, but i wax now.

But when I did shave, I never wet shaved the area. Put on some talcum powder and shave the same direction as the hair. This stops the rash.

Enjoy your honeymoon.

Thankyou ladies! I think that's where I went wrong as I shave against the growth to get a smooth shave, I will give the cream a go :)
